This past Sunday morning I preached a message on what the Bible says about hell. I did this in response to Rob Bell’s book Love Wins. If you were not here I would encourage you to listen to the sermon. I would also encourage you to view Martin Bashir’s MSNBC interview with Rob Bell. Note how, when pressed about his book, Pastor Bell struggles to defend his views. After you watch the interview, it would be good to read Dr. Albert Mohler’s article entitled, "We Have All Seen This Before: Rob Bell and the (Re) Emergence of Liberal Theology". In addition, for a longer but well worth reading review, I suggest Kevin DeYoung’s article "God is Still Holy and What You Learned in Sunday School is Still True". Both the interview and the articles will show how indefensible Bell’s position is to maintain.
