One of my favorite things to do in Georgia is to hike up and around Kennesaw Mountain. Yes, I know, compared to the Rockies or Smokey Mountains Kennesaw Mountain is not much of a mountain. Yet, the view of Marietta and Atlanta on a clear day is spectacular and if you have climbed it you know it sure seems longer than a mile to the top! Hiking beyond the top to some of the back trails is my favorite part. Recently, when our sons and daughter-in-law were home we spent an afternoon hiking and had a great time. It was cold on this day but the exercise of climbing and the settling of the wind made it much more bearable. It was just a day to do some things that I love doing the most like being with my family and being outside. If you have never been, you would really enjoy this. Enjoy the pictures.
