The past 26 days of my life have been marked by an incredible low and high. On July 18th, after months of failing health, my precious Mom went to be with the Lord. She was such a great Mama! I will miss her greatly. Since my Dad died almost five years ago my Mom and I talked every morning and many evenings. She gave me a morning “weather report” and we just talked about different things going on in our lives. After her fall, I constantly believed she would get better. She tried so hard. To the very end I believed that she would get better. I will miss her smiles and times to visit with her and so much more. She was truly my star!
August 13th was a day of great joy and blessing as our family welcomed our first grandchild into the world. What a blessing! Check out the pictures. He has two wonderful parents that will love on him and train him up in the way he should go. Did you look at the pictures yet? Steven Andrew Chambers, Jr. will be called “Andrew.” May he be like the Andrew of the gospel of John that brought others to Jesus! I am so proud of him already. Look at his pictures- he’s really something! I am happy to report that his mom and dad are doing great, maybe a little sleep deprived but doing great and enjoying their little bundle of joy.
